I, myself, have a compassionate concern for the state of the world and therefore I have undertaken some in-depth research into this subject which I would like to share with as many people as possible by putting up this site.

Best-Alternative-Fuel-Sources.com contains what I have discovered and learned during my endeavours, and I am still learning, so this site will be regularly updated. I hope to provide you with a wider picture than you'll usually find on other sites:

• You'll see that renewable energy is not always sustainable, which is revealed when we evaluate different steps of production, including the feedstock(raw material).

• You'll learn that the development of alternative fuel actually can be dependent on scarce resources, like land and water, but even on fossil sources as nitrogen fertilizer.

• You'll also learn that sources for biofuel have a wide spectrum. They include viable sources like pongamia pinnata and moringa tree but also unsustainable ones like palm oil and corn(maize).

• A key issue is cash crop quality. A fuel's viability and sustainability mostly depends on the choice of feedstock. An important matter is, for instance, how much we'll make use of legumes in the future development of biomass energy.

The subject of alternative fuel is huge. And it will grow the closer we come to the end of the fossil fuel era. If we prepare, we'll be fine. If we don't, it will be a disaster. Simple choice, isn't it?

But still a lot of people and governments continue as usual. And that is pretty scary.

The state of the world is a serious matter so we can't just hang around and see what happens. We need to take actions to get the world on the right track.

Climate Change is real. Sea levels are rising. More frequent intense weather patterns occur. Whole ecosystems are threatened. Species get extinct every day.

Close to one billion people have not enough food.

Fossil sources are getting scarcer and it is not only about peak oil. It is also about peak phosphate which will have a huge impact on food production.

Sooner or later it is a matter of peak everything if we continue the depletion of non renewable resources. Even the renewable ones will be more difficult to access because of our mismanagement. Water is such a resource.

But don't despair! There are solutions. If we work together we can turn the tide and start walking on a more sustainable track.

How To Find The Way To A Better Future

We in Western countries need to drastically reduce our energy consumption. It is our moral obligation to see that all humans have enough resources to satisfy their basic needs. And this can't be done if we continue to over-consume in the way we have done so far.

Together with saving energy we need to develop more alternative fuel sources.
